Focus on Lyme Case Study

Focus on Lyme has funded a genetic-based diagnostic tool for the identification of Lyme disease through use of DNA sequencing. The resulting tool was named LymeSeq (pronounced Lyme Seek). Our job was to pay homage to the brand that founded it while creating it's own identity.

 

The final logo is above. The client chose the second version we designed (from those that were presented below) which is a take on mid-century scientic logos with the graphic element resembling a computer punch card and a DNA stain. The spirit of the design is to harken back to a time when the most ground breaking diagnostic tools and medicines were being developed.
