For Brick Road Community Corporation Founder & CEO Gabe Hagen, success has never been about hiding the hard parts. It’s about being honest about the journey and building something meaningful along the way.

We’re proud to congratulate our client, Gabe Hagen, Founder & CEO of Brick Road Community Corporation, on being named to the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2026 40 Under 40 class.

Each year, the recognition celebrates 40 emerging leaders making an impact across the Valley’s business community. But for Gabe, the significance of this moment goes beyond being recognized for building a successful company. It’s a reflection of the kind of business leader he has chosen to become.

Gabe has never shied away from sharing the realities of entrepreneurship: the uncertainty, the risk, the lessons, the mistakes, and the moments when figuring it out means simply continuing to move forward.

That transparency is part of what makes his leadership so compelling.

After leaving corporate America during the uncertainty of the pandemic, Gabe took a leap into entrepreneurship and began building what would become Brick Road: a locally owned coffee company grounded in community, connection, and the belief that everyone deserves a place where they feel at home.

Today, Brick Road generates more than $1 million in annual revenue. But when asked what he’s most proud of, Gabe doesn’t point to the number.

“I’m proud not because of the number itself, but because we’ve done it while staying true to our values and creating a place where queer people and allies genuinely feel like they belong.”

- Gabe Hagen

That distinction says a lot about Gabe, and about the business he has built. There’s a particular kind of courage in being open about what it actually takes to build a business. Gabe brings that openness not only to his own story, but to the way he leads Brick Road. He talks honestly about the challenges of growth while remaining deeply committed to the people, purpose, and values at the center of the company.

And perhaps that’s the most meaningful part of this recognition.

The success of Brick Road isn’t simply a story about revenue or growth. It’s a story about building something with intention and refusing to lose sight of why it exists in the first place.

We were honored to celebrate Gabe at the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 luncheon and even more honored to watch our client receive recognition for the impact he is making in the Valley.

Congratulations, Gabe. We’re proud to be in your corner and to see where you take Brick Road next.
